Still, if you can stretch your budget to 30k then you will get everything better. Why I’m saying this, now think about it, you won’t change your laptop every year, so it’s better to buy a laptop which can handle almost all kinds of software.

Now keep in mind, that the ASUS Chromebook Celeron is running on ChromeOS which is totally different from Windows. You won’t able to any of the Windows software on this laptop.

The laptop uses the Android App store where you can install all the apps from Microsoft office to PUBG Mobile to Whatsapp.

So if you want a laptop for browsing where you don’t need to install third-party software then ASUS Chromebook Celeron is the best option for you.

If my budget was 20k and if I had to buy a laptop then I would go for Chromebooks because they provide the best battery life compared to Windows laptops and they perform way better.

Keep in mind, that ChromeOS is 100% handled by Google, so you don’t have to worry about updates.

Now, you have to ask one thing to your self which is, Will I need any Windows software for work if the answer is yes then you can take look at the next laptop.

RDP is an Indian brand that offers laptops and many other electronic products at affordable prices and the RDP ThinBook 1010 is one of them.

The RDP ThinBook 1010  is running on Windows 10 Pro and it is free upgradeable to Windows 11 Pro. Under the hood, it has an Intel Celeron Quad-Core Processor N3450 processor and ‎Intel HD Graphics 500.

As this is an under 20k laptop, you can’t expect a powerful processor even then RDP has provided a good processor. Also, don’t expect much from the laptop, especially in the gaming department.

This laptop is for those people who wanted affordable where they can use Microsoft office or any other web-based software.

Lenovo is a well-known brand when it comes to laptops. The Lenovo Ideapad 130 is running on Windows 10 Home and again, it’s upgradable to Windows 11 Home.

The Lenovo Ideapad 130 is a good laptop but it’s not available online or I can say, it’s out of stock on all the e-commerce websites. So if you can find this model in an offline store and if you can get it at around 20kk then it would be a good deal.

It has A6-9225 2.6 GHz with Turbo Boost Upto 3 GHz AMD Radeon R4 Graphic Card along with 4GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

As per Lenovo, the laptop will last for 5-hours. By the way, don’t expect gaming from this laptop, it’s good for watching movies to working on the browser.

Overall, Lenovo Ideapad 130 is a good option but not the best. So if you want only want to buy a Windows laptop then you can consider this laptop otherwise, you can take look at ASUS Chromebook Celeron.

I had selected three laptops from AVITA but ended up with the AVITA Essential Refresh NE14A2INC43A-CR. Still, you can take look at AVITA Essential NE14A2INC433-CR and Avita Cosmos 2 in 1 Celeron.

Talking about the AVITA Essential Refresh NE14A2INC43A-CR laptop, it’s running Windows 10 Home and has a Celeron-N4020 processor along with intel-integrated graphics.

Here is the key part, the laptop has 4GB of RAM and 1258GB of SSD. It will give about 6 hours of battery life with a full charge and has about 1.37kg of weight.

So if you want an FHD+ display with good looking laptop at a good price then you can consider the AVITA Essential Refresh NE14A2INC43A-CR.

Again, as this is a budget laptop, don’t expect to game, it’s built for work and entertainment purposes. If you want a powerful laptop then you have to spend more than 20k.

Conclusion – Best Laptops Under Rs 20,000

Choosing the best Laptop under 20k is going to be a bit harder because you have to choose between performance and features.

If you need a laptop for office work where most of the work will be on the browser then Chromebooks are a better option because they will give better performance and the best battery life.

Now if your work requires Windows software then you have to go with Windows Laptop.

So the ASUS Chromebook Celeron C423NA-BV0523 would be my pick for Chromebook and RDP ThinBook 1010 for Windows.
