Samsung Odyssey G5 is a newly launched monitor by Samsung in India. Also, as this is a Samsung monitor, this is a bit pricey.
The monitor comes with a 34-inches HDR10 display with a 165Hz refresh rate while the response rate is 1ms which is good but considering the price tag, it should have been lower.
When it comes to a display, no one can beat Samsung and the same can be said for the Samsung Odyssey G5. It has the best display and also that 165Hz will make give the smoothest gaming experience.
By the way, it can work on PS5 or Xbox Series X or you can also use Fire TV to watch movies.
Overall, if you want Samsung Branded Monitor then this is the best option but if you can work with other brands then you will love the next monitor.

By the way, this is not built for gaming but of course, you can game on it but it doesn’t have a 144Hz, 165Hz, or even 75Hz refresh rate.
Samsung went with a 60Hz refresh rate which huge problem for those who are looking for monitors for video editing or entertainment purpose.
For those who are wondering, the monitor has a 4K display panel. So yes, you can stream 4k content on apps like Netflix or Prime Video. Again, the monitor doesn’t have built-in speakers.
Overall, if your highest priority is not gaming and if you want to monitor for watching movies, work, or video editing then this could be a good option. Look at it this way, don’t buy for gaming, but for everything else.
