These days most smartphone brands have removed the 3.5mm Audio jack from their mobile phones but still at the budget price range, most of the phones do have the 3.5mm Audio jack.
Now, TWS earbuds are good but they are pricey, you have to spend more than Rs 2,000 to get the best TWS earbuds and the sound quality will be the same as Rs 500 wired earphones.
So if you don’t want to buy TWS earbuds and just want the best-wired earphone under Rs 500 then let’s see some of the best-wired earphones under Rs 500.
I will update this list every month, but if you want live deals or want to chat with me, you can follow topbestinINDIA on Telegram for live deals. Here is the discussion Telegram Group. See you there…
RealMe Buds Neo
RealMe Buds 2 Neo is a downgraded version of RealMe Buds 2 but surprisedly, it doesn’t lose out on many features. The RealMe Buds 2 Neo comes with 11.2mm audio drivers which provided a clean sound quality.
If love to listen to bass-boosted music then you will like RealMe Buds 2 Neo. Also, the bass is not overly boosted, so you won’t lose out on audio quality.
The wire quality is also good, RealMe has provided braided cable which will last longer. The earphone also has a built-in microphone, so you can take calls but it doesn’t have the volume up and down buttons if you want those two buttons then you have to pay extra Rs 100 to buy RealMe Buds 2.
Redmi Earphones
Redmi is a sub-brand of Xiaomi and Redmi has now entered the audio market too. The Redmi Earphones come with 10nm audio drivers which are also good for listing to music or playing games.
The good thing is, if you love to listen to bass-centric music then you will love this wired earphone as, on the bass-heavy song, the earphone tries to boost the bass.
The Redmi Earphones are priced at Rs 399 and because of that, Redmi has gone with rubber wire and not, braided cable. So if you’re a rough user then be careful because rubber wire doesn’t last long as compared to braided cable.
In short, if you don’t want to spend Rs 499 on RealMe Buds 2 Neo then you have to make a compromise in wire quality and audio quality. The Redmi Earphone also has a built-in microphone, so you can take calls but it doesn’t have the volume up and down buttons.
Mi Earphone Basic
Mi Earphone basic comes with a 10nm audio driver and it also has a built-in microphone to receive calls. The earphone does sound good and also bass is also, not too high or not too low but when it’s come to wire quality, things change.
Xiaomi has provided rubber wire and rubber wires are not bad for earphones but if you see the design around a 3.5mm audio jack then you will realize that wire won’t last for a long time.
So if you’re a very caring person and want better sound and bass quality under Rs 500 then, Mi Earphone basic could be a good option but if you’re a heavy user then it’s better to look at Redmi Buds 2 Neo.
Also, just like the first two wired earphones, Mi earphone basic also doesn’t have the volume up and down buttons.
boAt Bassheads 100
If you like colors, take look at boAt Bassheads 100. The boAt Bassheads 100 not only has three or four colors but it has 14 color options, so you can choose your favorite colors, no need to just choose from black and white.
The boAt Bassheads 100 comes with 10nm audio drivers which are great, considering the price tag, the boAt Bassheads 100 is worth the price tag but one thing to note, the earphones don’t have a good microphone.
So if you’re in a crowded place, another person on call might struggle a bit to hear you. Also, wire is made out of rubber which won’t last for a long time but hey, boAt Bassheads 100 is priced at Rs 399, so can’t expect everything.
Forgot to mention, that the earphone doesn’t have Volume up and down buttons but it does have a single button to pick up the call or play/pause/change the songs.
RealMe Buds Classic
The RealMe Buds Classic would have been the best-wired earphones under Rs 500 in India but because its half-ear design, the same can’t be said. The earphone comes with the largest 14.2mm audio drivers and because of the largest audio drivers, you will get clean sound quality.
The earphone also has a braided cable, so nothing to worry about the build. There is a downside which is bass, the RealMe Buds Classic does have a good amount of bass but because of the half-ear design, the bass doesn’t come out very well.
Like other wired earphones, the RealMe Buds Classic doesn’t have Volume up and down buttons but it does have a single button to pick up the call or play/pause/change the songs.
So if you like to listen to old Classic where there is no bass in music then this is the best option available under Rs 500 because the earphone has 14.2mm audio drivers which gives the best audio quality. In short, not built for bass lovers.
Boult Audio BassBuds Storm
RealMe Buds Classic wired earphone was for that user who loves to listen to old Classic music and Boult Audio BassBuds Storm is for those users who love to listen to Panjabi songs aka bass.
Boult didn’t say anything about audio drivers, so I can’t tell, what they have used.
The Boult Audio BassBuds Storm targeted those users who love bass cretic music and there is nothing wrong with it. I won’t say much, if you love bass, just go for it but if you also listen to the old Classic then it’s better to go with RealMe Buds 2 Neo.
Of course, if you’re not picky about sound quality then you won’t find a huge difference in Boult Audio BassBuds Storm. Also, the earphone doesn’t have the best wire quality and the ear tips provided by boult feel cheap.
This should be your last pick, I mean if you didn’t like any of the wired earphones which I have mentioned here then Boult Audio BassBuds Storm is the only good option available for you.
Conclusion
RealMe Buds 2 Neo is the best-wired earphone under Rs 500 in India because it comes with a braided cable, 11.2mm audio drivers, cable organizer, clean sound quality with a good amount of bass, and its priced at Rs 499 in India.
